Vivotek is proud to introduce the world’s 1st wireless MPEG-4 network camera with the pan/tilt capability. The PT 3123 is a powerful surveillance system connecting to a wired Ethernet or Enhanced 802.11b(22 Mbps) wireless connection to provide remote high-quality video and audio. The pan/tilt function that can be controlled through the Internet or the included remote control extends the camera practicability and application. 

An idea of viewing live images of events from a location 100 miles away was just a dream in the past, not to mention centrally monitoring multi-locations far away, even overseas. Using the Vivotek network cameras with the widespread broadband Internet now makes this dream finally come true.

The compact-size PT 3123 with the built-in DSP and Web server, users can easily access it using an Internet Explorer browser, viewing video and managing the camera from anywhere in the world. The CCD sensor provides the crispy and sharp image and the synchronized audio is also delivered simultaneously from the built-in microphone. The smooth streaming video utilizing the latest MPEG-4 compression technology has 10 times efficiency more than the Motion-JPEG compression, which effectively lowers the requirement of the network bandwidth and enhances the camera performance.

The PT 3123 comes with a set of digital input and output(DI/DO) that widens the applications of it. An AV output can directly connect to a TV or a surveillance monitor. In addition to the physical interfaces, the software-based functions, like motion detection, email alert notification, remote FTP storage makes the PT 3123 a complete security system. The bundled IP surveillance & recording software gives an extra point, allowing you to monitor numbers of cameras on a single screen, archive the video to the hard drives, search/playback the stored video and more other sophisticated features.
