PDC’s M22 product is a new memory product design targeted to help users to shift among devices that use different memory formats. M22’s current design helps users to roam among MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital Card, and Memory Stick devices. By utilizing different memory card transformers, the M22 can be transformed into a miniSD or MS Duo format. Device designers can also directly use M22 into their devices using the Secure Digital Card, or Memory Stick specification.

In the past, when users have a Sony Camera, a SD MP3, and a MMC phone, three different memory cards are needed. This also means that the user has to spend three times the cost to fulfill their demands for external memory. With the new M22 technology, users only need to buy one single product and can roam among different devices with different card formats.

M22 products are provided as a kit with M22 product, M22  miniSD Transformer, and M22 MS Pro Duo Transformer. Users can then have the alternative to switch to full size SD with a miniSD Adapter and to MS with a MS Pro Duo Adapter. Future upgrades of M22 are also available in which users only need to buy the M22 product as they already have the Transformers.
