Edimax unveils wireless 3G portable broadband router
The Edimax 3G-6210n is the smallest wireless 3G portable broadband router available. The compact design is easy and convenient to carry for all mobile or business users. Its built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery allows users to access the Internet wirelessly, via 3G modem, anytime and anywhere.
This compact and multifunctional wireless 3G portable router offers a flexible high speed solution that allows users to share either a 3G/3.5G connection or an XDSL/Cable connection with all network users. When connecting either a 3G or 3.5G (UMTS/ HSDPA/ CDMA) USB modem card, all network users can share a 3G/3.5G Internet connection with data rates up to 7.2 Mbps. It will also enable an xDSL/Cable broadband connection automatically when a 3G/3.5G Internet connection is not available.
The Edimax 3G-6210n router complies with wireless 802.11b/g, but when operating under the latest wireless 802.11n technology, its data transmission rate can reach 150Mbps, with coverage significantly increased to three times that of the 802.11b/g router.
The 3G-6210n includes the unique 16 multi-language EZMax setup wizard, enabling Internet connection, SSID, wireless security and firmware upgrade.
