In this month's computer section we have news from Intel of a new Atom processor, the N450, this time integrating graphics as well as the memory controller directly on the CPU. Intel has had a hit with the first Atoms, notably the N270, in netbooks. This time Intel wants to extend the adoption to entry level and compact systems. Another story we cover is Seagate finally deciding to get on the SSD bandwagon with the Pulsar SSD, targeted at the enterprise segment. In the meantime, VIA Technologies continues to innovate in small form factor systems, and in our IPC section we cover their latest Mini-ITX and Nano-ITX offerings. These are just three items out of our IT grab-bag. There's much much more besides in our January issue.
