2008 China International Consumer Electronics Show

     SINOCES, the 2008 China International Consumer Electronics Show, July 10-13, is the only State Council approved professional and international expo for the consumer electronics industry in China, and it is also the only professional consumer electronics exhibition certified and promoted by the US government in the Asia-Pacific region, and the only exhibition seeking strategic cooperation with the CES - the largest of its kind in the world.
     Furthermore, the scope of exhibits for this year covers the complete consumer electronics industry, including home AV, digital home, home appliances, software applications and solutions, storage solutions, portable office equipment, mobile communication equipment, digital content, software applications & solutions, security products, automobile electronics etc. It is estimated that the exhibition area will be as large as 37,000 square meters, and more than 450 businesses will enroll themselves, which makes this session of SINOCES the largest in scale and the highest in quality.

Digital content grows
     It is seen that with the fast development of network technology and the rapid growth of digital content, network content is now a major force driving the development of consumer electronics technology. At the present time, a fundamental change is underway with respect to the connection between consumer electronics. Breakthroughs have been achieved with the existing connection mode, and integration with network content at the core is on the horizon. As far as the connection objective is concerned, it has evolved from single computer content to all of consumer electronics, including TV, handsets, MP3, digital cameras, play stations, vehicular equipment etc.

     Experts in the industry point out that China has become the largest consumer electronics manufacturing base in the world and the second largest global consumer electronics market, only behind the US. SINOCES, as a consumer electronics show of the highest caliber in the Asia-Pacific region, is a major force driving the integration and development of consumer electronics in the eastern and western hemispheres. It points out the direction in development for consumer electronics businesses (especially Chinese businesses) standing at the crossroads.      SINOCES has successfully invited high quality visitors including Best buy, Radio shack, 360 interchange, Wal-mart and Carrefour from abroad as well as Suning, Dazhong from home. Over 63,000 people from 30 countries visited the 2007 SINOCES.

     The 22 series of industry forum offered an important platform to make deeper communication.
