Citizen CT-S4000 printer allows selectable paper widths up to 112mm
Citizen Systems America’s CT-S4000 is the perfect solution for printing applications that require more printing space than is available on the standard style POS type printer.
The extra width provided by its 112-millimeter paper allows it to be used for jobs such as printing prescriptions, data testing or in-store coupons that contain larger amounts of data or information.
“The CT-S4000 fills the void between smaller POS style printers and larger, bulkier desktop printers,” said Seth Avergon, Senior Director of Marketing for Citizens Systems America. “There are many situations where you want to put more information on the paper, but don’t want to give up the speed and size advantage of a roll style thermal printer. The CT-S4000 was designed to fill that need.”
This versatile printer features durable two-color printing with easy drop-in paper loading.
It accepts large capacity rolls in three widths up to 112-millimeters and comes standard with a built-in power supply and dual interface (USB plus serial, parallel or Ethernet) on all units. Featuring a unique Direct Memory Access (DMA), the CT-S4000 downloads text and graphics faster, leading to increased productivity.
The CT-S4000 is available in either black or white and can be positioned horizontally, vertically or even wall mounted when space is at a premium.
For the first time ever, Citizen is also introducing the CT-S4000L version which prints using both thermal paper and label stock.
In addition to having all the same features as the standard model, the CT-S4000L can accept (drop-in) direct thermal label rolls and is perfect for printing barcode and shipping labels.
Both of the CT-S4000 and CT-S4000L printers come with the Citizen Systems industry leading three-year warranty.
