IP-based security by H3C
H3C, headquartered in Hong Kong, with research and development centers in China (Beijing, Hangzhou and Shenzhen) and India (Bangalore), showcased its comprehensive IP-based networking, security, storage and surveillance products and solutions under its innovative IToIP architecture at CeBIT this year.
Under this framework, H3C delivers comprehensive Internet protocol-based products and solutions.
As an important IP-based security solution provider, H3C showcased three new firewall/VPN devices based on a multi-core architecture at CeBIT. Its security products and solutions, including Endpoint Access Defense (EAD), SecPath series firewall, VPN gateway, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), UTM (Universal Threat Management) and application accelerating devices, all have been extensively deployed in large enterprises in different vertical industries.
In IP networking, H3C provides a powerful, integrated and secured service platform for customers in different businesses. H3C showed SR6600 open multi-core router series, SR8800 10Gbps high-end core routers, and the latest high end multi-service routing switch S7500E series.
Also H3C introduced its IToIP network infrastructure solutions such as virtual area network, remote access defense, data center upgrade and consolidation, as well as the industry-specific networking solutions for finance, education, and large enterprises.

Dome CCD cam from PLANET
Simultaneously providing MPEG-4 and M-JPEG video streaming, the PLANET ICA-510 is a Dual Mode CCD Dome Internet Camera which uses high resolution of 1/3-inch CCD sensor for capturing color images. Equipped with network and analog video output interfaces make the ICA-510 a flexible viewing and recording implementation. Compliant with IEEE 802.3af PoE (Power over Ethernet), the ICA-510 offers the benefit of easy deployment to users to install camera without concerning for power outlet located. The 2-Way audio feature directly makes audio communication between local and remote side by adding external microphone and speaker. Besides web browsers, it also provides 3GPP capability that can remotely view the live video via a 3G mobile phone.
The ICA-510 supports the professional management software, PLANET Cam Viewer, which is a multi-camera video surveillance application, and it can handle the ICA-510 to provide monitoring, recording and event management functions. Via RS-485 interface, the PLANET CAM-KB300 is a 3-Axis control Keyboard which provides upward, downward, leftward, rightward, clockwise and counterclockwise with the joystick. It can remotely control the external scanners, speed dome cameras like the ICA-510a nd PTZ receivers, and offers long distance control distance up to 4000 feet.
The PLANET CAM-KB300 supports CCTV system control. It is able to connect 32 keyboards and each one can control up to 255 speed dome cameras. With user-friendly LCD display, control keys and PELCO protocol compliant, the CAM-KB300 will be the best choice for the PTZ control solution.
During CeBIT in Hall 13 PLANET’s IP Surveillance Solutions were introduced as the main theme on its display wall, to showcase the professional security camera product lines and its management software, Cam Viewer. e-Loam promotes new webcams
Shenzhen e-Loam Technology (www.eloam.cn) met more than 500 customers at CeBIT and received several orders.
“In the fair, we can know more about the market and needs. And we canimprove our products and offer better products and services to our customers,” noted Shirly Li of e-Loam at the show.
Established in 1998, Shenzhen e-Loam Technology Co., LTD is a professional and customer-oriented webcam manufacturer, possessing R&D, manufacturing capacity, marketing, technical and customer support capabilities.
Located in Longhua Tongfucun industry Park in Shenzhen, its factory spans over an area of 7,000 square meters.
The company has, in addition to equipment for RoHs testing, 5 automatic SMT machines and 8 reflow soldering machines into force. Its average daily output exceeds 80,000 pcs.
“We are always on the way to developing new and innovative models, and we look forward to greater cooperation with overseas customers,” Li said,
Among the many outstanding designs at the company’s booth in Hall 19 during CeBIT, was the 6639 and 6609 models.
The 6639 webcam (at right) belongs to the UVC series, and there is no need to install a special driver. It sports a USB 2.0 high speed sensor and is compatible with Windows XP, XP2 and Vista operating systems.
Meanwhile the 6609 (bottom) has a fashionable draw-bench panel and built-in microphone for online conversations. Its camera lens supports 1.3 megapixel image rendition. It is a USB 2.0 solution and sits on a multifunctinal base. |
