The LianQ Group was founded in 2005 and currently consists of LianQ Technologies and Qianhe Electronics.
     LianQ Technologies, Inc., a sales company focused on selling KVM products in the United States and Canada, was first formed in Canada in 2005.
     A year later, Qianhe Electronics Co., Ltd. was formed, focusing on developing and manufacturing KVM products in Taiwan, as well as selling the KVM products to areas outside the North American market covered by LianQ.
     In the area of solutions, the group offers such CAT5 KVM products as 33m and 150m CAT5 KVM switches with 4-, 8-, and 16-port connectivity and LCD Drawer Cat5 KVM switches as well.
     By end of Mar. 2008, the companies expect to add CAT5 KVM with Over-IP solutions and Matrix KVM 2 by 8 or 2 by 16 solutions to their product portfolios.
     In terms of product quality, the groups touts product stability as that from such well- established companies as Avocent, Raritan, ATEN and Minicom.
     For instance, the group’s single user CAT5 analog KVM switch supports both USB and PS/2 interfaces by connecting specific dongle. The distance between the connected computers and the local console can be up to 100/500 feet. By connecting a remote console KMX0102, the distance may scale up to 1000 feet. Auto Signal Compensation for different distances improves the video resolution up to 1600x1200@60 in 200 feet and 1280x1024@60 in 500 feet. It supports OSD and real time DDC2B/ EDID.
     Meanwhile , the LCD CAT5 KVM Switch combines 15/17/19 inch-TFT LCD panel, keyboard, touch pad, and CAT5 KVM switch in a rack mountable 1U drawer. It allows one console to control up to 16 computers with PS/2 and USB keyboard/mouse interface in a distance via CAT5 cables and dongles. The distance between the computers and the LCD console can be up to 150 meters/500 feet.
     By connecting a remote console switch KMX0102, the distance between console and computers will be up to 300 meters/1000 feet. It is ideal for IT administrator needs to access multiples computers in computer room and from his/her office cubic. L7P0100 is a LCD KVM drawer without KVM switch and is able to compatible to most of KVM switch with PS/2 interface.
     According to the group, CAT5 KVM switches will replace 70 percent of the traditional PS/2 and USB KVM switches now in use in the next few years. And it estimates that 25 percent of traditional enterprise KVM switches and advises that this could be a right time to enter in the market and capture the business to lead the market.
