AXIOMTEK, an Associate Member of the Intel Communications Alliance (ICA), a community of communications and embedded developers and solution providers, is proud to launch the 5.25" embedded board, SBC83810, which supports Intel PentiumR M processor and option with BGA type onboard Celeron M at 400/533MHz FSB. This board not only supports Parallel ATA but also Serial ATA (SATA). Moreover, the SBC83810 adopts the Intel 855GME + 6300ESB chipset for the customer's high computing applications such as HMI with control features, streaming intensive transaction terminals etc.
The Intel Pentium M processor, in conjunction with the Intel 855 chipset family and the Intel PRO/Wireless network connection family, is a key component of Intel Centrino mobile technology. Built on Intel's 90mm process technology, the Intel Pentium M processor features a 2MB power optimized L2 cache, 400MHz power optimized system bus and other architectural enhancements such as Micro-Ops Fusion and Dedicated Stack Manager for faster execution of instructions at lower power.
"The SBC83810 generates an outstanding performance for many significant applications," says Matthew Lee, Vice President of the Embedded Computing division. The DualView function of the SBC83810 supports different views and resolutions, which are convenient to monitor. The resolution support embraces Single and Dual View Display mode which applies to DVI, LVDS LCD, and TV. The serial ATA-150 encompasses greater speed, more efficient cabling and advanced features for integration into servers and networked storage environments. The 64-bit/66MHz PCI-X, Mini PCI Type-III Socket and PC/104+ expansion interfaces are designed for more feature extensions. The TV-out functions supporting both NTSC/PAL for S-Video and composite video are flexible for users with different needs. In addition to four fast Ethernet, customers are able to select four gigabit Ethernet upon their system's demands.
Other features of the SBC83810 include one DDR DIMM up to 1GB, onboard four COM ports for transaction terminal applications, LCD backlight via utility programming or software programmable and board-unique ID. More side features include two PATA-100 IDE, two SATA-150 IDE, one FDD, one PS/2 K/B, one PS/2 MS, one LPT, one IrDA and four USB 2.0 ports via box-header for wiring solution.
AXIOMTEK has also announced its new fanless GOT series products, GOT-2570S and GOT-2770S, with 5.7" and 7.7" LCD displays. The GOT-2570S is a compact-size platform with essential functions especially designed for the small-sized operating interface market. Having a 5.7" STN touch panel and RISC kernel, it is definitely an ideal cost-effective solution. The GOT-2770S is equipped with a 7.7" DSTN LCD display, low-power consumption processor, Intel PXA255 with XScale technology, and adopts a reliable and stable design with a fanless processor and CompactFlash card.
The English versions of Windows CE.NET OS are built in both units. This makes the GOT-2570S and GOT-2770S open HMI solutions for system integration and priority choice of your human-resource-interface applications. The GOT-2770S is a consistent platform with functions especially designed for vibrating environments such as in transportation, semiconductor manufacturing and so on.
The GOT-2570S, supports 32/64MB system memory on board, and has two serial ports and one 10Base-T Ethernet.
