The Taipei Computer Association (TCA) was established as a not-for-profit organization since November 5, 1974. In just three
decades, our corporate members have grown from 15 to over 4,000 today. TCA has branch offices across all areas in Taiwan, and overseas representatives in Tokyo, Japan and in Suzhou and Beijing, China to provide more convenient services to our international customers. The association is a well-recognized representative of Taiwan's IT industry, as our members accounted for approximately 90% of Taiwan IT industry's total production value. Our mission is to help promote Taiwan IT industry, and TCA strives to become the driving force of Taiwan's IT industry and also a world-class business association.
TCA maintains the most reputable and powerful Information Technology website in Taiwan, Computex Online (www.computex.biz) and the Japanese version (www.ippc.biz) to offer buyers a variety of free services. The websites together attract more than 1,000,000 visits and 20,000,000 hits from visitors around the world each month. With more than 10,000 product information and approximately 3,000 company profiles, it surely is the representative of Taiwan's B2B website.
COMPUTEX TAIPEI: The world's 2nd largest IT exhibition and the most reputable IT exhibition in Asia, COMPUTEX TAIPEI takes place in early June each year. Co-organized by TCA and TAITRA, the show had flourished immensely since it was first held in 1982, and has attracted approximately 26,000+ overseas professionals with more than 1,400 exhibitors participating in this event each year.
Other than local shows, TCA is also aggressive in assisting the IT industry in establishing a strong presence in the international market through exhibitions and delegations around the world. Each year, TCA organizes delegation or pavilions to participate in more than 30 international exhibitions including CeBIT Hannover (Germany), CES in Las Vegas (USA), eMEX Suzhou (China), WPC Expo in Tokyo (Japan) and many others.
