Minitar produces Wireless LAN USB Adapter

Minitar has produced the MN54GU, a wireless 802.11g USB2.0 Adapter. The Minitar MN54GU is a no-hassle solution to add high-speed wireless capability to your PC.

The Minitar MN54GU requires no cards and no screws. It simply plugs into the USB2.0 port on your PC, instantly giving you access to full 54Mbps connection. The Minitar MN54GU operates on a Windows 2000 or XP platform.

The Minitar MN54GU features a USB 2.0 interface. The USB 2.0 interface is up to 40 times faster than USB 1.1, allowing you to utilize a full 54Mbps WLAN data rate. It has a free-standing external design. This free-standing design is ideal for an external placement on any surface. The included USB cable lets you locate the adapter in the position where the signal is strongest.

The Minitar MN54GU complies with IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g, and Wi-Fi standards. This allows full interoperability with any Wi-Fi certified wireless product. The WPA-compliant data encryption provides enhanced security to help protect your network from unauthorized access.
