Comtrend delivers communication solutions

Comtrend Corporation has delivered a broad range of communication solutions for business and residential use. These products include routers and VoIP solutions.
The Comtrend CT-535 is a Wireless ADSL Router. The Router is an integration of an 802.11b wireless AP, Ethernet switch, and ADSL router. The unit supports VLAN configurations. The CT-535 can support up to 8 PVCs, each of which can have multiple PPPoE sessions. It also supports on-demand PPPoE. A built-in firewall provides security. There is an embedded SNMP agent and ILMI 4.0. The CT-535 provides Web-based, console, or telnet management for remote configuration and upgrading. The CT-535, incidentally, was a winner of the 2004 Taiwan Symbol of Excellence Award.
The CT-600 from Comtrend is a VoIP IAD. It provides Bridge and Router functions and supports H.323, MGCP or SIP, G.711, G.723.1, and G.729ab. The device has an L2 based and L3 policy based QoS. Other functions include an on/off hook caller ID, echo cancellation, life line, silence suppression and comfort noise generation. It has DoS protection, Stateful Packet Inspection/Filtering, and UBR /CBR /VBR ATM services.
Comtrend also provides a no-billing, CT-800 VoIP Gateway. The Gateway supports H.323 or SIP, and DHCP, PPPoE, and DNS clients. The device has caller ID. It also provides silence suppression and echo cancellation features. The CT-800 gives remote administration and remote firmware upgrades over the Internet.
