Penpower launches WorldCard Color

Penpower Technology Ltd. has launched the WorldCard Color, the latest generation of the line of the Penpower WorldCard. WorldCard instantly turns stacks of business cards into an e-contact book without typing. Incorporating new features and enhanced functions, WorldCard Color enables users to keep their contacts current and accurate. WorldCard Color optimizes card management and streamlines the data communication between the PC and mobile devices. The color images allow users to see the true color content of cards, making card management fun.

New features and enhanced functions allow contact data maintenance to be easy. New features include Live Upgrade and CardViewer, along with many other older functions. The straightforward card control interface allows card info to become organized by sorting, searching, adding new entries or deletion. Also, users can check duplicate data, edit text info, as well as directly access the function list by right-clicking the mouse. The operating steps are very simple and easy to understand.

WorldCard Color can accurately scan and recognize both sides of business cards in English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, and some specific languages for OEM design. Card data can be synchronized from within Outlook, Outlook Express, PocketPC or Palm. When data is modified or deleted in WorldCard, the data in the corresponding software can also be updated simultaneously. The program interfaces with Outlook and Outlook Express are fully integrated. Users can directly scan, edit, or modify a card's information in the program and add it to the address book.

WorldCard's live upgrade wizard is an online service which checks updates automatically. After detecting that an update is available, the wizard connects to the live upgrade server, downloads the latest WorldCard release and automatically installs the update. The WorldCard portable disk allows users to synchronize card data into a compact and handy portable disk. By simply inserting the disk, users access the data instantly. CardViewer is a mobile card management software which allows users to create a card database in their PDA, view the card data, perform voice searches (PocketPC), and add remarks to the card data.
