CyberPower introduces compact mobile Power Inverter
|
To enjoy electronic devices in travel, users usually need batteries to run them. However, a more secure solution is to supply power from the vehicle itself. A mobile power inverter is a unit designed to supply power from a vehicle directly to an electronic device.
CyberPower designs and markets mobile power inverters in North America. In 2003, the company's AC Mobile Power unit sold more than 150,000 units in the US, one of the top sellers in quantity within this product category. CyberPower has introduced a slim type power inverter targeting business travelers.
The CyberPower Slim has inherited the technology and quality of the AC Mobile Power. With a lightweight design at 500g and a slim size of 1.8cm in width, the CyberPower Slim is truly a mobile solution that fits almost most accessories with its universal outlet and USB port.
The CyberPower Slim has a 12V DC cigarette lighter plug with a built-in airplane adapter to fit all standard vehicle cigarette lighter sockets. It provides a 5V DC, 0.5Amp USB port to charge USB devices. The CyberPower Slim features a surge protection to allow a safe car start-up and shutdown. An additional low battery shutdown occurs when DC voltage falls to 11.5V or less. A built-in splitter runs both AC and DC currents simultaneously. A stylish enclosure and blue power-on LED round out the hi-tech feel of the device.
