The Gen-WAN Networked Media Gateway NMG3000 is a multimedia delivering product. The NMG3000 delivers multimedia content, including music, pictures, and video stored on the home computer to standard TVs and stereos throughout the home. The NMG3000 uses both wireless and wired connections to provide seamless transmissions. For business applications, the NMG3000 is also an ideal solution for multimedia digital content transfer to provide wireless and seamless connections between office computers and high resolution AV output equipment, including projectors.
The NMG3000 has a user-friendly graphic interface for navigating networked multimedia. In addition, it provides video applications without compromising performance by using a high speed (up to 54Mbps) wireless connection. The device allows users to enjoy digital audio files, such as MP3, WMA, WAV, AIF, AC3, and AAC files, on the stereo or TV. The NMG3000 shows digital photos of JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, and PNG format on the TV. PC-stored music videos and movies of MPEG1/2/4 and Divx formats can be watched on the TV or home theater. Other features include playlist support for M3U, PLS, and ASX; Internet radio streaming to the TV or stereo; and a quick set up through an intuitive installation wizard.
