Ortek announces Wireless Keyboard and Optical Mouse

Ortek Technology, Inc. has announced the MCK-9000E RF Wireless OfficeMedia Pro keyboard and optical mouse. The MCK-9000E uses 27 MHz RF technology that allows users to eliminate tangled cables and free users to sit anywhere they choose. The keyboard has numerous Hot Keys, a scroll wheel and volume knob for instant and easy access to Office, Internet, Multimedia and Application functions. In addition, the Clipboard Hot Keys, Task Pane and Office Hot Keys allow users to take full advantage of the many features found in Office XP.
The MCK-9000E is ergonomically designed and one-button access keys make many tasks up to 50% faster. It offers omni-directional operation within a five foot range of the receiver. In addition, it has 256 ID codes to reduce potential interference between other devices as well as multi-user operation in the same room without interference. It offers omni-directional operation within a 5 foot range of the transmitter. The optical mouse rolls precisely and smoothly on most any flat, non-reflective surface and virtually no cleaning or maintenance is required. The mouse has a 400dpi resolution to provide accurate mouse and pointer movement. The mouse and keyboard are compatible with Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP.
The receiver of the MCK-9000E has an Auto-suspend mode for power saving management. After approximately 3 to 5 seconds from the last key input, the device enters the Auto-suspend mode. The receiver also provides a Low Battery LED to show the battery status. Other LED indicators include Number Lock, Scroll Lock, Caps Lock, and Office Lock. The kit comes with one receiver for both devices that connects via a PS/2 port.
