The Bona Computech CV863A motherboard is fitted with VIA VT8623CE and VT8235(C5) core logic and the VIA Eden /C3 EBGA CPU, with VGA and audio onboard. It also offers built-in LAN options: one Realtek RTL8100C LAN chipset, one Realtek RTL8100S LAN chipset, or one Intel 82540EM LAN chipset for three optional types. This board also integrates an AC97 2.2 sound interface. This board offers superb performance and PC specifications, competing with any motherboards in the industry.
In addition, the CV863A motherboard is fully compatible with industry standards, adding many technical enhancements and thousands of software applications developed for IBM PC/AT compatible computers. The control logic provides high-speed performance for the most advanced multi-user and multi-tasking applications available today.
With Ultra DMA-133/100/66 access in mode 4 to the IDE drive interface architecture, this board supports a maximum 133MB/sec data transfer rate. A CompactFlash reader supports the IDE/ATA interface.
The CV863A also has a PCMCIA Interface, using a Richo R5C486 PCMCIA chipset compliant with PCI specifications version 2.2. It supports two PC Card sockets, allowing a CardBus (Card-32) Card and 16-bit (PCMCIA 2.1 /JEIDA 4.2) Card to work at the same time.
