Can Technology introduces Ergonomic Office Keyboard

The keyboard has become a key piece of equipment for anyone who works in an office. However, people who work at a keyboard for over 12 hours per day are vulnerable to occupational injury, particularly arthritis and shoulder pain.

This has motivated Can Technology to spend time in planning and modifying the conventional keyboard design. The end result of this considerable effort is the Office-900 ergonomic keyboard.

From small parts to each IC, Can Technology's R&D team invested a large amount of time in discussion and test of this keyboard design. The result, the Office-900, is an innovatory approach that moves well beyond the traditional keyboard.

The Office-900 keyboard slopes naturally, from left to right, and from bottom to top. This ergonomic type of design benefits users' palms and wrists. It helps to stretch the shoulders, preventing arthritis and shoulder pain.

The OFFICE-900 is a wired model, which uses a cable with a USB connector, which can also attach to the PC via a PS/2 adapter.

The OFFICE-900W is a wireless model, which together with a wireless optical mouse and a receiver, forms a kit.

The OFFICE-900 has 17 hot-keys, and these use a one-touch mode for multimedia functions. An enhanced F-key enables Office functions. A new left and right scroll wheel has been built into the palm rest, for up and down movement of web pages.

In the future, ergonomic keyboards and mice will be mainstream in the computer peripherals market, and Can Technology intends to strive for their development. Users can expect to see continued product innovation from this company. Find Can Technology in Hall 1, D126-128.
