Georgia Technology has released products that allow end-users to create and edit their own DVDs. These devices include the GA-VD201 USB 2.0 High Quality Video Creator and the GA-EKUS2 MPEG2 Capture Case.
The GA-VD201 High Quality Video Creator allows users to capture and edit movies from a variety of analog video sources. The package includes a powerful movie editing and DVD authoring software. This software lets users add professional quality soundtracks and titles to their videos, as well as stunning effects. When the work is completed, the users can share their movies through e-mail, put it on the Internet, or create high quality VCDs and DVDs. The movies can then be played back on home DVD players, or on a computer running DVD playback software.
The Georgia Technology GA-EKUS2 MPEG2 Capture case is an external capture source, allowing anyone with a USB 2.0 port to become a movie director. It gives users the ability to capture video, edit video, and burn DVDs from one external device.
The GA-EKUS2 Capture Case complies with USB 2.0, allowing for a high data transfer rate of digital images. It has S-Video /Composite (RCA) Video input and a Stereo (RCA) Audio input, letting users capture video and audio files from a variety of sources. Additionally, it supports NTSC and PAL video formats - providing the resources to record from TVs worldwide. The high video capture resolution is of DVD quality, providing 720 x 480 and 720 x 576 resolutions for NTSC and PAL, respectively.
Enclosed in champagne gold aluminum material, the case measures 263(L) x 161(W) x 51(H) mm. The GA-EKUS2 is AT Attachment with Packet Interface Extension (ATA/ATAPI-6) Compliant, and thus supports data transfer rates at 66MB/sec (UltraATA66). Find Georgia Technology Corp. at Hall 1, H314.
