D-MAX unveils portable
PDR-5000 DVD player

D-MAX Technology has made the PDR-5000, a portable DVD player. The PDR-5000 allows users to transport and watch their favorite DVDs wherever they go.
The PDR-5000 is a portable DVD player with a built-in wide-screen color TFT-LCD display panel. The display panel measures 18cm (7-inches) to give a wide screen view. Additionally, the screen is of a slim size and can be rotated a full 270 degrees. This lets users maneuver the screen to an angle that is best suited for watching.
The PDR-5000 supports extra interfaces for more options. The unit has an interface connect for an optional TV Tuner-box (TVB-800), allowing users to enjoy TV programs on the player's monitor. It also supports a CF Memory Card slot. This allows the PDR-5000 to play different file formats, including MPEG2, MPEG1, WMA, JPEG, and MP3.
Dolby Digital and DTS digital outputs ensure users are listening to movies in the highest sound quality. One built-in mini jack for Audio-Video inputs from external sources allows users to watch items recorded from camcorders or even to play games from TV game players.
