evServ is a leading provider of enterprise and small-to-medium class data storage subsystems and server technology. Building on over 20 years of research and development experience in disk array system development, evServ designs and manufactures technology that provides its customers with high-performance storage and data communication servers. evServ offers three product lines: JBOD subsystems, SCSI RAID enclosures and RAID Subsystems. evServ subsystems currently integrate high-speed Fibre RAID, low-cost Serial ATA, Parallel ATA and enterprise class SCSI RAID for network storage environments.
The evServ SATA RAID systems come in many varieties. evServ offers tower type 8-bay systems, 2U 8-bay systems, 2U 12-bay systems, and 3U 16-bay systems. The evServ SCSI RAID systems are available in the same configurations as the SATA RAID systems. evServ also offers Fibre RAID systems in a 2U 12-bay Fibre-to-Fibre RAID system design.
In March, evServ released its latest Serial ATA storage solution in 2U 12-bay and 2U 8-bay formats for various configuration requests. evServ also released a Fibre-to-Fibre enhanced high density 2U 12-bay RAID storage system. These systems have additional advanced features of increased performance, multiple power inputs, and support for multiple RAID sets, along with a cooling module and vibration free environment.
The evServ high end Fibre-to-Fibre product is designed to meet the growing need for large storage capacity, high performance and scalability. The host connection in this high end system is via 4 x 2Gbit Fibre Channel SFP ports (cluster ready) - LUN mapping can be configured via the serial communication interface on the back of the unit.
