Evalue Technology announces InnoFlex modular Panel PC

Evalue has announced the InnoFlex Panel PC, a cost-effective and time-saving modular designed PC. The concept of the InnoFlex PC is to cut down maintenance time and upgrade cost. It is comprised of three modularized sections, including an LCD panel, a core engine and a mechanical console that can be customized and changed easily. This design concept eliminates cabling, increases system reliability and reduces system-level cost.
Besides incorporating a 12"/15" TFT LCD, Audio and a 10/100Base-TX networking capability, the InnoFlex Panel PC also supports PC-133 SDRAM and a 3D graphics controller to suit 3D applications. Additionally, its onboard 3 COM ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 PS/2 keyboard & mouse, dual PCMCIA sockets and Digital I/O ports give it extreme flexible peripheral connection capabilities.
The InnoFlex supports scalable system performance from Mobile Intel Pentium III to fanless NS Geode GX1, VIA Eden and Transmeta Crusoe processors on ETX core modules.
This ETX CPU board acts as an embedded plug-on module and can be placed on a customized baseboard tailored to any customer's specific needs. Since the baseboard is designed simply and separately from the ETX CPU module, it has the potential to drastically reduce custom product development time to just 30 days.
The InnoFlex also offers a variety of storage options, including CD-ROM, HDD, floppy, Type I/II CompactFlash socket and an optional built-in 6-in-1 card reader. All storage devices are designed to be swappable for easy removal and can be changed in minimum maintenance time. The InnoFlex Panel PC can be installed in all kinds of work environments and applications. It can be wall mounted, panel mounted, or simply placed on a desktop with an optional swing arm.
