Where the Future Will Be Born

One of the world's top three venues for the computer and communications industries, COMPUTEX TAIPEI will kick off on June 1, 2004, at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) and run through Saturday, June 5. This "must be there" event will bring together a host of big name corporate giants, as well as hundreds of smaller businesses active in ICT, Information and Communication Technology. Some 25,000 volume buyers will descend on Taipei for this event. Thousands of visitors will also be there, sampling the latest technologies and products from around Asia and the world.

2004 - More show, more space!

One of the exciting developments at COMPUTEX 2003 was the arrival of Hall 3, conveniently adjacent to the Hyatt Hotel. Hall 3 created the additional space that was sorely needed as COMPUTEX TAIPEI continued its onward march of expansion.

In addition, Stellar Hall, the TICC, will be back in action this year, as Hall 4. The TICC will house several of the big international vendor brand names, including Intel, AMD, National Semiconductor and Mitac. In addition, the TICC will be housing some smaller, start-up companies.

Theme pavilions

A success story for COMPUTEX TAIPEI has been the creation of special theme pavilions that reflect the current hot trends in the worlds of IT and communications.

In total there will be seven theme pavilions at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2004, focusing on Security, IP Telecoms and IP TV, eLife, Automotive Electronics, Linux and Open Source software, and Digital Home appliances.

Yet another innovation this year will be a special gallery area in Hall 1 devoted to 12 leading local brands. Many Taiwan leaders are now recognized brands in their own right. Now conveniently grouped together in Hall 1, visitors to the gallery will be able to sample the best from Taiwan quickly and efficiently.
