Eurotrade's editors first noticed Neso Technology's FD Trinitron CRT monitors during CeBIT 2002 in Hannover, Germany. It was the first PC display company we were aware of to integrate a flash card slot into the main body of a display unit.
Other display companies we spoke to mentioned that they were considering this design feature, but Neso was the only one Eurotrade's editors saw during the show to have actually developed a fully workable mass-production model. By the time of Computex Taipei 2002, it remained the only company to have a fully working solution available.
The Pomona is a series of high-end FD Trinitron CRT monitors that are incredibly stylish and more affordable than LCD monitors yet with comparable performance. FD Trinitron features an ultra-fine 0.24mm aperture pitch and uses a high-performance electron gun system with advanced lens technology for better image quality across the entire screen.
Neso's monitors also incorporate a microprocessor-based image control system and multilingual on-screen display to adjust h/v convergence, n/s purity, four corner purity and precision alignment of the electron gun for a more accurate color rendition across the screen. Manufactured in China, Neso's 17-inch FD Trinitron monitors are able to display images at 500-nit brightness levels with a 0.01-percent redundancy rate. The monitors are stylishly designed with curved contours to appeal to modern tastes. They come with exchangeable color shells that can be selected by customers.
The addition of a Memory Stick slot to the front panel of the monitor on models FD910MS and FD225MS allows users to exchange and share digital data among Memory Stick compatible devices.
By incorporating the slot into the monitor instead of the PC, Neso has freed users from the need to turn on the PC to view digital files. They just need to turn on the monitor and navigate through the files via the on-screen display. They can also capture screen data to the Memory Stick when the PC is on. The monitor also features a USB hub with one upstream and four downstream ports and dual video input terminals for the simultaneous attachment of two PCs.
Neso was founded with the mission of becoming a premier supplier of computer monitors. Neso has recruited outstanding talent for every phase of its operations, with a special emphasis on people with plentiful experience in related technology and markets. At the same time, it gained the backing of eminent companies from a broad range of industry segments, all sharing the goal of reinvigorating the monitor market with innovative products that combine uncompromising quality, top performance, and value-added features.
